we love character development, ella is a really interesting character and she's so nice to luci in this book. Usually don't have particularly high hopes for sequels, as i find that they rarely live up to the first, however i may like this one even more than the first! once again luciana is off to another space related camp, although this time she has a friend she already knows who will be there, and if you cannot tell i am a big fan of ella. Perhaps my favorite sentiment from the book is that No dream is easy to achieve and Luciana does a good job showing how that is the case, but also she teaches the attitude needed to overcome difficulties. The book does a good job of talking about science, STEM, and what kinds of experiences are possible for those with a dream, while keeping it fun for all girls. At one point, where Luciana faces a crisis, I honestly felt like I was panicking too, just reading it. It is a fun book and a quick read that makes you feel the true emotion. Although some of the side characters aren't developed as far as they could be, the book is full of relatable characters teaching important lessons. It includes one of the characters besides Luciana from the first book and introduces a number of new characters. Instead of heading to Space Camp, Luciana is headed to a Junior Astronauts Training Camp that involves Scuba diving training and an underwater training center. This follow-up to the first Luciana book was a fun follow-up with a slightly different focus. And I kinda do wish we got to see what Claire's dad way going to do. I also appreciate how Claire's motivations for her actions where explained, which I found interesting. And while I wanted it to end later than it did, and I wanted to know what happens next, I did like the end and the resolution it had. There was character growth, which is always good, especially in young characrers.

The story moved and progressed well, and unfolded at a good speed.

And I'm glad I did, since I ended up really liking this book. However, I put this aside and kept reading. Maybe it's just me, but things don't add up here 100%. Namely, a price that makes me unsure how a nurse and a math teacher would be able to afford it, especially with other events, such as with Izzy. In this book, though, she applies to another space-related camp, one that by the way it's described makes me wonder how it wouldn't cost something. In the first book, Luci earned her way to Space Camp through an essay contest. When I started reading this book, I had doubts about it's plausiblity.
